“Hammock” was taken on the island of Kauai on our first trip to the Hawaiian Islands. It was a perfect Hawaiian afternoon. The mountain on the right of the palm tree, in the background, is the famous Bali Hai. The movie South Pacific was filmed on Kauai in the 1950s and the name stuck for this mountain. Kauai is a beautiful, peaceful place to relax and restore. My husband and I highly recommend its restorative nature.
