I always listen to music on my headphones when I am painting. The song “Tainted Love” by Soft Cell came on and I just put it on repeat and went to town with this canvas. A lot of my work is inspired by music and the energy I feel from the songs is expressed through color. I felt compelled to put on this song and in the moment, created this painting. It is the original piece and was created in 2019.
