The starkness of Greenland in shades of blue and grey reflect the water and rocky coast. Townspeople create a contrast to that color scheme with villages of red, blue, yellow and other brightly colored buildings. They keep them well maintained and painted. This wonderful house once sported a rich red color but to my eye became that much more beautiful as the paint faded and peeled leaving a rusting run down structure for me to photograph
