My idea about this painting is to show the authentic and traditional Japanese lifestyle and culture and combine it with the modern-day busy street view of Tokyo through the window. So, the left side of the room is inclined toward the old culture and the right side with buildings and neon signs dictates the modern Japanese lifestyle. The writing on the lamp means “love”. There are lots of details on the Japanese Kimono dress on the wall and on the left door painting of a tsunami with Mount Fuji in the center. This painting is a famous artwork within Japanese culture. The painting has a good depth and a peaceful feel.
