Retro Fashion Reworked
Thanks to photoshop I began tinting and adding layers of filters to my retro fine art images that I reworked.  A tool not available when I first made the images.  When I started reworking them, I would ask myself, were they waiting, stored away for 20 years to be giving a new life, to be seen with fresh eyes  I wonder.  When it came to working on my personnel images,  I worked with only the model and myself.  Barebones, cutting back on the noise, allowing the model and myself to connect closer.  Occasionally I would bring in a makeup artist or wardrobe stylist.  Garments I choose, for my models, would be a man’s white shirt, jeans, slips, dresses that are light and airy so they would flow with movement.  Creating provocative fluid images, capturing the models’ individuality, strength, and sensuality. The images are all about the model and myself, not the fashion but timeless snapshots.
