A three-mile walk from the parking lot of Lower Calf Creek Recreation Area near Boulder, Utah, brings you to these graceful falls, tumbling down from a cleavage in the rim of a basin that you find yourself inside of, striking rocks on the way down that split it into two streams. About Joel Simpson:
A NJ native, with a PhD from Brown in comparative literature, Simpson went pro as a photographer in 2002, after teaching college English, French, and Italian, and playing jazz piano professionally in New Orleans.
