“Splash 2020” was created in 2022 by master oil painter René Cheng.
This artwork symbolizes the beauty and simplicity of life itself. How a dip can bring us joy, freshness and fun! We sometimes forget that simple things in life bring us joy, like a bird, a flower, and splashing into a river. On the other hand, Cheng wants to remind us of the fragility of life and nature, as well as its beauty. We should live in the present, the moment, and enjoy it at its fullest.
This work participated in the Mall Galleries in London and at the rail road station “Hauptbahnhof” in Zurich, Switzerland.
