Fragment of a press release from the exhibition ‘What to Do While Waiting”.  The show was held at the Contemporary Art Gallery in Opole, Poland (Dec. 2020 / Jan. 2021):

The merging of a tool of labor with the icon of ‘a good time’ was created in the midst of the 2020 pandemic reality.  This timing provides the sculpture with the somber characteristics of a contemporary danse macabre.
-Lukasz Kropiowski, curator
