Tara Kissoon’s artwork displays a three-dimensional perspective of architecture.
“Venice is known as the “City of Canals,” “The Floating City,” and “Serenissima,” is one of Italy’s most serene cities. With its winding canals, striking architecture and beautiful bridges.
Venice, the capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region, is built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. It has no roads, just canals – including the Grand Canal thoroughfare – lined with Renaissance and Gothic palaces. The central square, Piazza San Marco, contains St. Mark’s Basilica, which is tiled with Byzantine mosaics, and the Campanile bell tower offering views of the city’s red roofs. The first woman in the world that graduated was born in Venice in 1646, and the first public casino in the world was opened in Venice in 1638.
Bridges represent a symbol of connection, stability and progress while canals represent the structure and balance in your own life.”
