This year’s [LOCAL TALENT] Program proudly showcased invited artists Catherine Carlton, Colleen Veltz, and Rosa Barnes. Funded by Art San Diego and Presenting Sponsor UBS Financial Services, in collaboration with the ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station and the NTC Foundation, the program is dedicated to uplifting and supporting San Diego’s vibrant visual arts community. Don’t miss the chance to discover these incredible artistic visionaries—and add their works to your collection while you can!
Access to Art’s theme, When a House Becomes a Home, was a compelling collaborative exhibit showcasing the creative home decor of Humble Design alongside the unique artwork of students and caregivers from the Monarch School in Barrio Logan. The exhibit invited viewers to reflect on the intentional, often subtle choices we make daily to cultivate a sense of belonging—within ourselves, our surroundings, and our shared spaces. Through this vibrant and thought-provoking collection, the exhibit delved into the unseen layers that influence how we define, build, and rebuild the concept of home, both physically and emotionally.
